With the help of an experienced dog trainer…

You CAN have the well-behaved dog of your dreams.

Real world experience.

I can help you have a dog who listens to you consistently, and one that is a joy to have as part of the family.

I have trained and rehabilitated multiple challenging dogs in my home from dominant Rottweilers to protective german shepherds to aggressive Malinois. I have been in animal welfare for over 20 years, helped rehabilitate challenging foster dogs, and helped friends, family and pet owners in the community with their dogs for some time.

Education.

I recently completed a Behavior Consulting Certificate course with the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, and the Biology of Dog Aggression course with Dr. Tim Lewis.

I have experience working with various dog training methods and immersed myself in all things dog: including taking many dog training and behavioral courses, and reading many dog training and behavior articles and books. My personal dogs have been through all levels of obedience, and have participated in agility, nose work, rally and barn hunt. I have experience with positive force free training, balanced training, leadership, dog sports and the way your energy effects your life with your dog. Some of my Fenzi Academy classes include:

Management for Reactive Dogs

Adolescent Minds and Manners

Working with Reactive and Overaroused Dogs

Zen Logic - Making Sense of Self Control

Dogs with Big Feelings conference

Supportive Coaching.

The current training and dog behavior climate is at best confusing for dog parents, and filled with judgement and even shaming at worst.  You can easily waste time and money going down the road with the wrong training style. Worse yet, it can leave you frustrated and damage your relationship with your dog.  Maybe it already has.

I can help you sort through the options, navigate resources and come up with a detailed holistic plan to build the relationship with your dog you have always wanted.

Didn’t you envision that living with a dog would be fun and joyful? It can.

In addition to coming when called, the place command is one of my favorites. It has so many uses.

Let’s change your relationship with your dog to one where he or she listens consistently, and is a joy to have as part of your life.
